Hello, Fall

Out of all of the seasons, summer is probably my least favorite. I am not a fan of heat or humidity, even though I am learning to accept them. I have found myself enjoying moments of stepping outside and allowing myself to be hugged by humidity.

Fall is different. There is something rejuvenating in crisp air, changing leaves, and warm drinks.

A few years ago, my husband and I went to a metro park to walk and find trees. We found a park with old trees (I can’t remember how old, but they were really old for our state). It was a perfect day. The sky was clear and blue. It was a serene canvas for the brown, crimson, and golden fall leaves.

These photos have been some of my favorites, and even now, I enjoy looking through them when I need a moment of peace. I hope before the end of the season we are able to do something like this again. Until then, I’ll leave you with a few of my favorite memories from that day.
